About Faith.

Faith is an award-winning storyteller, educator and founder from Bismarck, North Dakota.

She has a constellation of experience spanning 11 years, including as a:

-Reporter for The Bismarck Tribune and freelance writer with over 300 published pieces

-Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she developed upskilling programs for senior business executives on AI & GenAI (the latter in partnership with Google) and drove 8-figure process improvements for retail/consumer companies

-Director of Strategy & Operations at Stanford’s Center for Teaching & Learning, and founding member of the Peer Learning Consultant Program, where she created programming on academic & soft skills for thousands of students

-Engineer in industry with Walmart (process engineering & continuous improvement projects saving >$11M) and DENSO (new product innovation work with >$1B commercial potential)

Faith graduated with two degrees & honors from Stanford University (B.S. in mechanical engineering and B.A.H in Slavic Languages & Literatures).

She’s also the oldest of four siblings, very close to her family, and loves autumn and thunderstorms. She’s currently writing her seventeenth book.

About the business.

  • Esper Collective comes from my middle name (Esperanza, which means hope in Spanish); Collective comes from the constellation of interests, skills and experiences I bring to my work.

  • The focus on soft skills is because they’re the key to get where you want to go and be who you want to be, whether in business or your own life - all in a way that’s authentic and sustainable for you.

    They’re all the unwritten “rules” we wish were taught or knew earlier, and they’re what’s allowed me to construct the foundations of a life that I love to live and a business that creates impact.

    I want that for you and yours, too.

  • I want you to actually get results. I've worked with over 50 organizations, hundreds of people, and have written, spoke and taught professionally in a variety of industries and capacities for the past 11 years.

    I've helped businesses save, and create, millions of dollars in value and successfully upskill people from interns to senior executives.

    I’ve helped people get into colleges, land dream jobs, receive great performance reviews & obtain promotions, make successful career pivots, and excel while building something that they uniquely want in a way that's sustainable for them. (I've also done all those things myself).

    I’m all for bold goals; tangible, manageable, and consistent actions; fun training that creates lasting behavior change; and continuous iteration with a test & learn approach.

  • AI policy: I acknowledge the power AI and GenAI have. That being said, I do not use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, etc. to write my books/client deliverables and do not plan to. However, I do run AI upskilling trainings, and conduct regular research on these tools to stay up to date.

    Reminder One: I'm a human just like you and make mistakes. Please know I'm open to feedback and comments along these lines.
