Hi, I’m Faith.

Welcome to Esper Collective, consultancy and home to the Soft Skills Forest.

What are soft skills?

Necessary

Call them soft skills, durable skills, professional skills, work skills, or a combination - whichever your preferred term, they’re increasingly necessary in 2025’s ever-evolving world.

Lacking

They’re also increasingly lacking - from soft skills gaps in the Gen Z workforce, to managers not taught how to manage, to exceedingly talented technical and/or creative folks navigating the business world & more.

Learnable

The good news? You can learn soft skills - and with practice, you will improve. A few popular soft skills you may recognize: strategic thinking, communication & presentation, leadership, and resilience.

Why a forest?

There’s as many paths through the forest as there are people to take them.

There are also paths that are smoother, and ways to go that avoid more pitfalls.

Soft skills are just like that.

There’s no “one right way,” but there are tactics, strategies, and actions you (and/or your team) can take that are more or less effective.

The Soft Skills Forest provides a guide - a chance to practice, learn, grow, and change in a science-backed, sustainable, and fun way.
